At 射精视频, we know that your wellness is key to your success. Here, you鈥檙e part of a community that cares. We鈥檙e here to support your needs with counseling and health services and a peer wellness education program so you get support not only from us, but from other students as well.

We also recognize that many students face significant and longstanding social and economic barriers in pursuing higher education. Our office is dedicated to providing you with a care environment that is welcoming, trustworthy, equitably accessible, and affirming of all identities.

Hours and visit requirements

  • Fall and spring semester: The Counseling and Health Services office is听open Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to noon and 1听to 4 p.m. (Please note: The office is closed Wednesdays from 1听to 3 p.m.)
  • May and summer terms: Spring office hours extend through May 31, 2024. From June 1 to August 15, 2024, the office will check voicemail on Wednesdays to serve students who need existing prescriptions refilled and follow-up questions.
  • Holidays and other breaks: Hours of operation are subject to change during holidays and break periods. See office closure information above.

How to schedule an appointment

Making an appointment for any of our services is easy. For many services, we offer both in-person and video appointments. To make an appointment:

If you need a same-day or urgent appointment and there are none available online, please call our clinic at 651-523-2204.

Any student experiencing an emergency should call 911 or contact Public Safety at 651-523-2100 for assistance.

Let's Talk

Considering counseling, but feeling hesitant?听 Unsure if your issue requires counseling?听 Reluctant to go through a formal appointment process? Let鈥檚 Talk!

Let鈥檚 Talk sessions are brief (15 to 20 minutes), informal, and confidential individual consultations with a professional counselor, with no appointment or intake forms required.

For spring semester 2024, students can drop in for a Let鈥檚 Talk session on Tuesdays from 4 to 5 p.m. or Thursdays from 11 a.m. to noon in GLC 104E. Sessions are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Join a therapy group

In addition to individual counseling services, we offer a variety of counseling groups during the fall and spring semesters. Joining a therapy group will provide you with an opportunity to:听

  • Connect with peers about shared concerns
  • Learn about yourself
  • Gain more skills to manage your current concerns
  • Interact with others in a meaningful way

Groups are facilitated by psychologists from Counseling and Health Services and are free to 射精视频 students. Students will be asked to attend a 30-minute screening and orientation meeting before joining a group.

Stress and anxiety support group

Tuesdays, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

  • Gain skills to manage your anxiety more effectively听
  • Learn more about anxiety and coping strategies听
  • Interact with others by sharing personal experiences and receiving and providing support

Women's Support Group

Thursdays 2:30 P.M. TO 4 P.M.

  • Join other women-identified students in a supportive environment
  • Identify and explore feelings, give and receive feedback
  • Learn new and healthier ways of relating to others to feel more connected and understood

Writing Through Trauma

Tuesdays 12:50 p.m. to 2:20 p.m.

  • This group is open to individuals who have experienced any form of trauma

  • Using research-proven methods, group members will learn how to manage their thoughts and feelings about a traumatic experience to reduce their symptoms
  • During each group session, group members will write about their trauma individually and then discuss the experience of writing about it with the group
  • Discussing details of one鈥檚 trauma is not required, but the group will be a safe space for those who wish to share

Peer wellness education

The 射精视频 Peer Wellness Education program is dedicated to fostering student-to-student communication about common health concerns that arise during college, and proactively promoting student wellness. Peer wellness educators specialize in areas of mental health, nutrition, sexual health, relationships, and decisions around drug and alcohol use.听

Serving as a peer wellness educator is a great opportunity for students interested in a future career in healthcare, or for anyone who is simply interested in personal health and well-being.
