Day at the Capitol Annual Event
The State Grant Program is a critical piece of many 射精视频 students' higher education funding and represents more than two million dollars in total aid to 射精视频 students. The Day at the Capitol event each spring is an opportunity for 射精视频 students to participate in the legislative process by encouraging state legislators to support the State Grant Program.
Students attending the Day at the Capitol event will have the opportunity to:
- Add a personal story to their resumes and develop themselves professionally
- Learn firsthand how the legislative process works
- Support fellow 射精视频 students who rely upon the State Grant Program to fund their 射精视频 education
- Expand their networks by connecting with 射精视频 alumni who work at the Capitol
The State Grant Program supports 射精视频 students and is Minnesota's largest financial aid program, providing financial aid for almost 100,000 Minnesota college students. 射精视频 students play an important role in urging legislators to support the State Grant Program for Minnesota college students during a difficult economic time.

As part of Spring Leadership Week, student advocates from 射精视频 met with Minnesota legislators at the state capitol to ask for their support for the Minnesota State Grant program, which directly supports low- and middle-income college students.

What happens at Day at the Capitol?
Students will receive a schedule of meetings with state legislators during which they will have the opportunity to share why they feel the Minnesota State Grant Program is important. They'll also have time to tour the area, sit in during session or committee meetings, and have lunch in the Transportation Building. At the end of the day, students may have an opportunity to hear from key legislators before returning to campus.

How will students be trained to be citizen lobbyists?
Staff members from the Minnesota Private College Council with extensive experience lobbying for and supporting the Minnesota State Grant Program will provide students with training during information sessions prior to the event and on as the morning of the event.
